Dear Heavenly Father, by the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood that we hold, we take this infant into our hands to give her a name and blessing. The name which she shall be known in this life and on the records of the Church is -
Haven, at this time, we give you a blessing that you will be strong in the face of adversity in this life. That you will be able to stand up to the trials that come to you.
We bless you to have a keen understanding of the principles of the gospel and share it with those around you. That you will be brave and always stand for what is right.
We bless you to be able to rely on and listen to the Holy Ghost. And be able to follow its promptings.
We bless you to be an influence for good with those you come in contact with.
We bless you with a great love for your family – Mother and sisters – and for you to look up to your siblings. That you will be able to see the good examples in your life and follow them.
We bless you that you will be able to show love to those around you and that the love of Christ can be shown through your love.
We bless you to be worthy to enter the temple, find a worthy companion, and be sealed for time and all eternity.
We bless you with these and any other blessings that our Heavenly Father has in store for you in the name of Jesus Christ.
