We were going to go skiing for our Anniversary, as we have not had the opportunity (due to pregnancy or nursing) the many years we have lived in Utah. But instead we took the older two on a date with us to see Disney on Ice. Seems like that opportunity doesn't come around too often either.
I know my kids don't look super excited for some reason. But boy were they ever. And that was by far the very very very best part.

As we waited for the show to start, I pointed out the curtained area on the far side of the ice to Evan.
Me: "Do you think they are getting ready behind that curtain?"
Evan: "Yes. They are putting on their costumes and deciding which one they want to be!"
Me: :-)

Oh cute!! How fun that you chose to be with your kids on your anniversary! I took Cloey to a Disney Princesses on Ice when she was 3 and she just LOVED it! It was special for me because of how much her face lit up and how she giggled. What a perfect date night!
How fun!! We have never been. Great idea with the binoculars!
