My youngest takes the phrase"Devour
a Book"
a little too literally. She will sit in front of her library for minutes on end (the equivalent of a toddler hour) babbling and pointing and turning pages....
and....
eating.
She has a smorgasbord at her disposal and so she digs right in. Who can blame her.
I just hope she's not compensating for some nutritional deficiency. And I especially hope it's not the same one that I can only assume the "weirdo" kid at my elementary school had who would consume his "entire" school lunch - milk carton and styrofoam tray included!
Hopefully we'll have this under control before elementary school hits!
